日々、集まっては作り変えられる古着やハギレや糸のハンパモノたち。

思わぬ使われ方をされたな？？？と、布や糸に思われているかもしれません。

ロケットバナナの元に集まった繊維モノは、ギリギリまで使われ、

ギリギリまで残されます。

何に使われるかは、タイミング次第で、ぜんぜん違うものになります。

そんな作品たちを是非見に来て、手にとって、触ってみてください。

今年の、体験コーナーとワークショップは、

◆足踏みミシン体験◆

①触ってみよう、動かしてみよう。足踏みミシン。

　空いてれば、誰でも、随時体験できます。

②巾着袋を足踏みミシンで作ってみよう。

　お気に入りの布を、ハンカチぐらいのサイズ(50cm四方くらい)を持って来てください。

　手元に無かったら、コチラで用意した布でも出来ます。

　1回　1000円

◆靴下作りワークショップ◆

カカトを作らない靴下を作ってみよう。

①棒針編みの経験がある方…

　２時間でできるところまで編んで完成に近づけます。

　仕上げはお家でもできるよう、ご説明します。

②棒針編みの経験がない方…

　お子様用（２・３才程度）靴下を編みながら、作り方を覚えることができます。

　お子様用靴下は携帯ケースにもアレンジできます。

　または、キーケースも作れます。

RECYCLED FABRIC CRAFT SHOW by Rocket Banana

Everday, we get many old clothings, fabric straps, and strings and remake them into something new. The cloths and strings probably never imagined that they would be used for such new things! The fibrous matrerials that come to Rocket Banana are used until they could no longer be of use, and are kept to the last minute. What they turn into is always a surprise– it depends on the timing and circumstance. Please come to see our work, pick them up, and feel them.

This year’s hands-on corner and workshop is:

“Try using the pedal sewing machine”

1. Touch and use the pedal sewing machine.
You can try anytime as long as the machine is not being used.
2. Make a drawstring pouch using the pedal sewing machine.
Please bring a handkerchief-sized cloth (about 50cm×50cm). If you don’t have any, you can use the cloth we have.
　Fee: 1000yen

“Socks making workshop”
Make socks that have no curve at the heels.
1. For people who have experience in stick knitting…
　Knit and finish as much as you can in 2 hours.
　If you don’t finish here, don’t worry– we will explain the steps so you can complete your work at home.
2.For those who don’t have stick knitting experience…
　Make kids size socks (for years 2-3) and learn how to knit. These socks can be arranged into cell phone holders. You can also choose to make key cases.
